Malati Vasantdada Patil Kanya Mahavidyalaya , Library was established in the year 1989. After a years , the library is holding the collection of books are 16,200(UGC-6000 and College -10200) +50 doneted books.The 86 Periodicals and journals(Local, National, International). Five News Pan i.e. Daily Sakal, Pudhari, Maharashtra Times,Tarun Bharat, Times Of India are coming in Malati's Library. Some CD-ROM , Audio Cassettes are also available in the library. The N-List Membership has taken for library and under these 2100 e-journals and some e-books is available in the library 500 Periodicals back volumes are also available in the library.

There are established systems and procedures for maintaining and utilizing physical, academic and support facilities like library, sports complex, computers, classrooms etc. The college has the building construction committee that looks into the maintenance of the infrastructure and the premises.


Functions of the committee:

    1) Proper upkeep and maintenance of the buildings and surroundings

    2) Carrying out minor repairs of furniture, electric and sanitary fitting.

    3) Maintenance of the water tanks and other services in the premises.

    4) Maintaining safety and security.

    5) Electric maintenance and plumbing maintenance.

    6) Maintenance of ICT related hardware and software under the annual maintenance contracts(AMC)

    7) The annual maintenance contracts for photocopy machines , biometric machine.

    8) The college makes the necessary expenditures for all the above purpose from Govt. Funds and funds raised by the college. All the expenditure are monitored by the Management Council of Walwa Taluka Education Society.


We have made significant development in our infrastructure and learning resources during the year 2018-19. We augmented our infrastructure facilities ,our automated library is good learning resource. Our overall technology upgradation is satisfactory. The building construction committee of the college looks into the maintenance of the campus infrastructure.
